Bal Ashram

At Bal Ashram, they gather their dignity through the nurturing and counselling of a loving staff, their confidence through the carefree and sensitised atmosphere. The children pick up the basic threads of literacy and numeracy before being enrolled in formal schools- at their villages or near the Bal Ashram. Those over 14 years of age, have the choice of a vocation of their liking- tailoring, carpentry, screen printing, electrician's and welding trade.

Children who are between 8-10 years of age are generally provided with basic education and are encouraged to pursue education in the community where their family belongs.
