Children are the future of a society and it is our collective responsibility that children receive quality education and opportunities to grow and learn in a protective environment. To achieve this, it is important that all forms of neglect and abuse of children must stop, including employment of young children.

I would like to thank Bachpan Bachao Andolan for their continuing efforts to eliminate child labour in India.  

I declare that I support the movement to eliminate child labour and a complete ban on child labour till the age of 14 years.
